Pagoda Restaurant Tralee

Have been a long term takeaway customer of this place. Last week we ordered a couple of dishes for collection,
Had noticed for a long time that the taste was changing but put this down to a change in chef. The ribs we usually get (and I had complained about this before) were dried out reheats. There would be more meat on a fly. The chips had a chemical taste or else dirty oil. I didn't bother ringing them up this time as it's a waste of time. We just won't be returning to this place anymore, it's become very disappointing. This food has become very expensive when you consider it has to put in the bin after the first few spoonfuls.
There is better out there I guess 😱

Seems they've changed their chef or curry supplier. Soup flavour with carrots suddenly appearing in chicken and mushroom soup (if I wanted carrots, I would have asked for them) and curry flavour has changed recently. Tastes sweet like coconut or something has been added. Food was great, just not my tastes anymore. Time to look for another "local" takeaway.

The Pagoda Asian Street Restaurant is a wonderful dining experience. The new menu has a great variety of dishes to choose from in the recently refurbished restaurant. It is also very spacious so one feels very safe as tables are well separated. The flavour of my favourite dishes is consistent so I never leave disappointed. The Staff are very Friendly, always ready to give a warm welcome. 😀
